O Billboard Music Awards aconteceu nesta quarta-feira (14) e contou com apresentação de Kelly Clarkson. O evento estava marcado inicialmente para abril e teve de ser adiado por conta da pandemia. Além dos protocolos de segurança, uma das grandes adaptações dessa edição foi a ausência de plateia.
Líder de indicações na premiação, Post Malone venceu nove das 16 categoria as quais competia se tornando o maior vencedor da noite. Além disso, o artista também foi um dos grandes destaques da lista de performers da noite e apresentou os singles “Circles” e “Tommy Lee” ao lado de Tyla Yaweh em um cenário externo cheio de fogos e efeitos.
Dona de uma das coreografias mais famosas do TikTok, Doja Cat cantou um medley de “Juicy”, “Say So” e “Like That”. Já Alicia Keys apresentou o single “Love Looks Better” e Demi Lovato realizou a primeira performance do single “Commander In Chief”, novo single da artista. SIA, En Vogue, BTS, Brandy, Bad Bunny e John Legend também se apresentaram.
